In these classic sushi restaurants, sushi master will help you choose what kind of sushi you would like to eat and serve you in some sort of course like menu. But getting in to those sushi restaurants could be quite costly and too formal to chat around with your family and friends.

If you want to eat…

great amount of sushi in rather reasonable price,
sushi in a casual place to eat with your family and friends,
sushi from spinning high-tech conveyor belt,
good sushi but in a small quantity,

than, conveyor belt sushi is the right choice for you!

Conveyor belt sushi restaurant (so called “Kaiten sushi 回転寿司” )is not a high classed restaurant.
It’s very localized sushi restaurants that Japanese eat in daily bases.
According to Maruha-Nichiro 76% of Japanese people eats sushi at conveyor belt sushi restaurants.
The restaurant is super casual, you don’t need to worry how to eat sushi in a traditional manners.
Just choose what ever sushi or side menu you want.

I personally love eating sushi at “Kaiten sushi 回転寿司” restaurant. You can eat your favorite sushi toppings repeatedly (people likes to do that). There’s also some side menu like small noodles and dessert which is good to eat in between or after eating sushi.Plus conveyor belt sushi is fan! Compared to other sushi chains, Sushizanmai only has 57 restaurants across the country, 43 located in tokyo district.
However, sushi with gigantic tuna and other thick fresh sushi toppings, Sushizanmai is loved by people living in Tokyo.

The great thing about Sushizanmai is it’s opened 24h.
Sushizanmai could be easily fond in Shinzyuku, Shibuya and Roppongi etc.. multiple places where people like to go clubbing and drinking.
It would be a great choice to pick some sushi before or after night life.

Sushizanmai is not necessary conveyor belt sushi restaurant.
Some restaurants have sushi master “itame” to make you good sushi.

The price is pretty high compared with the sushi chain sushi plate could cost 200yen – 800yen (around $2-$8)depending on the toppings.
It’s quite obvious why the prices are higher than the other chain sushi brands, sushi toppings are bigger than the others.

If you get a chance to eat in Sushi Choushimaru you are lucky.
Sushi Choushimaru is well known for providing fresh sushi toppings from Japanese largest fish market in Choshi and what they offer is super delicious! However, Sushi Choushimaru is usually located in suburban and you might have to travel a little bit.

Location really doesn’t matter to Japanese people when they know that you can eat good sushi, so that’s how Sushi Choushimaru works.

Sushi plate could cost 200yen – 500yen (around $2-$5)depending on the toppings.
Pice of the sushi is distinguished by the color of plates  and you can find plates which costs, 130yen, 180yen, 250yen 300yen 420yen and 580yen. I would recommend to choose some of the sushi set menu if you don’t know what to order.

Sushi Choushimaru 91 restaurants across the country.
Unfortunately, they dont’t have english menu yet.
Take away menu is also available.
Credit card (VISA & MasterCard)is available in all restaurants.
